What is your purpose in life?

How do you mend a broken heart?

What does home mean to you?

Pretty loaded questions, eh?

Do you feel like you could’ve answered these questions when life was simpler and younger? Or when you’re older and have seen more of the world?

SoulPancake, a Youtube channel that makes the most amazing videos about all that is good and warm in this world, brought out their 0-100 series not too long ago.

For these videos, they brought together 100 people aged from 0-100 years (well the 100-year-old person is actually 105) and had them answer some of life’s biggest questions – questions that do not have right or wrong answers, but those that define us nevertheless.

These videos bring out how people grow up through the years – how a child’s purpose in life is as simple as making people happy, but a 60-year-old wants to educate and entertain. From a 17-year-old boy wanting to marry the love of his life to an 80-year-old trying to figure out how to live to 110.

They send a very strong message – as life progresses, people change – through failures, heartbreaks, success, love – and that’s okay. It’s okay to have started out as wanting to save the world, and ending up just wanting to send your children off to the best college in the country. It’s okay to have once believed in love at first sight only to have realized along the way that love runs deeper than that, and takes more work. It’s life, and it’s unique for every other person out there. And it’ll keep surprising you till the end.
